SSO Confusion for upgrade from 5.1.x -> 5.2

The upgrade guide section for configuring SSO (https://docs.incorta.com/5.2/guides-upgrade-from-5-0-x-to-5-2/#configure-sso) seems to contradict the Secure Login Access documentation (https://docs.incorta.com/5.2/configure-sso/#configure-sso-using-cmc). I currently have SSO working for my production tenant using the CMC method.

Do I need to change methods and redo SSO or will my CMC configuration remain intact with the upgrade?

Hi Marc,

Good catch and really sorry for the confusion. Well, the answer depends on the current version you are trying to upgrade from.
If you have version 5.1.2 or above (I think yours is 5.1.5, please correct me if I'm wrong), there will be no valve in place, your configurations will be already in the CMC, and accordingly no change is needed from your side when you want to upgrade to version 5.2.

However if your current version is 5.1.1 or earlier you will need to apply the changes in both links you sent actually.

Again thank you for noting this, keep it up. And from our side we will work on removing this confusion from our documentation.
