Connecting to Informatica

Hi Team,

Is there a way to connect to Informatica and use the INCORTA tables or MVs as source?

  • I have not tried connecting via informatica but it should work just like Tableau  I guess. Connect to Incorta via the Postgres adaptor , put the host as the incorta server IP address, port as 5436 and database as the tenant name.  Let us know if it works.

  • Hi,

Thanks for the idea. It worked. We can able to connect without any errors.

    But, tables are not displayed.

P.S. I used admin access to connect.

    • Gautham  please log a support ticket . Btw can you download Dbvizualizer and try to  similarly connect to incorta and check if you can see the tables?

    • Gautham What version of the Incorta platform are you using?  Full metadata support for the postgres driver wasn't introduced until 4.4.

  • Amit Kothari  Dan Brock Thanks, we are using incorta version Release4.2.8.

I can see the tables and query the data when I use DBvisualizer using Postgresql driver.

However, its not the case in Informatica.
