Unfortunately, no, Warren. You have to create a new one and delete the old one. We've heard this request before but the effort is hairier than it sounds on the surface since the TableName would have to be updated potentially within several other "Incorta objects" -- dashboards, formulas, business views, etc.

Is there any product development or enhancement consideration to enable renaming tables within Schema ? Even during the early phases of schema design (before any business schema or dashboards are built), there are numerous times we look into renaming tables. We have naming standards for our organization for Incorta, where we have determined to name all Schema tables beginning with 'TBL_*'. When we use the schema wizard to connect to the source database and pull the required database object to Incorta (which is easier solution when there are 100's of tables involved for a large migration project), Incorta (ver 4.8) does not allow to rename the table at creation. It inherits the table name from source system and Incorta does not allow to rename tables subsequent to creation.
Although I understand the complication from product point-of-view wherein all references of a given renamed table object is required to be updated in the incorta meta-data, I think any other similar product/ solution in the market will have 'renaming of schema component' as a basic feature. Please share any updates or thoughts.
