Issue while truncating the values.

Hi Everyone,

I am facing issue while truncating the values when we have decimal values in our measures .

For eg - if my value is .0987 then I want the values to show up as .098 .

If I am not using any function it automatically give me value as  .1 but I don't want the values to round off.

I tried using trunc() but it doesn't allow  me to give second argument in trunc() function to give the number of decimal places till I want the values to show.

  • Hi,

Make sure the data type of the column is long.

Assuming that you want to round of to 3 places,

    1.choose column format as "decimal"

    2. And in decimal places choose '3'
