File directory structure and script changes in release 4.0

Incorta Analytics release 4.0 includes few changes in the file directory structure and the script used in different areas. This article organizes this information in two tables as shown below.

There is a new file with the name "options.properties", to set the memory size.

/IncortaNode/services/<SERVICE_FOLDER>/conf

The values in the "server.xml" file in release 4.0 are changed to be placeholders holding values in the "catalina.properties" file.

/IncortaNode/services/<SERVICE_FOLDER>/logs/incorta/<tenant>/

 

/tmt

/cmc/tmt

The TMT folder is part of the CMC (Central Management Console).

/zookeeper/conf

/IncortaNode/zookeeper/conf

By opening the "zoo.cfg" file, the "dataDir" property value has been changed from "/tmp" to "<INSTALLATION_PATH>/IncortaNode/zookeeper/data"

/startall.sh

start-cmc.bat start-cmc.sh   Starts cmc process.
stop-cmc.bat stop-cmc.sh   Stops cmc process.
listServices.bat listServices.sh   Lists all the services included in the current node. For each service, it displays:

Service name, service path, service type and service status

startService.bat startService.sh   Starts all the services included in the current node, by providing the service name in the command (e.g. ./startService.sh <SERVICE_NAME>)
stopService.bat stopService.sh   Stops all the services included in the current node, by providing the service name in the command (e.g. ./stopService.sh <SERVICE_NAME>) 
serviceStatus.bat serviceStatus.sh   Displays all the service status included in the current node, by providing the service name in the command (e.g. ./serviceStatus.sh <SERVICE_NAME>) 
startNode.bat startNode.sh   In a typical installation, it starts 4 processes; nodeAgent, zookeeper, phantomJS and derby.
In a custom installation, it starts 2 processes; nodeAgent and phantomJS. 
stopNode.bat stopNode.sh   In typical installation, it stopps 4 processes; nodeAgent, zookeeper, phantomJS and derby.
In custom installation, it stopps 2 processes; nodeAgent and phantomJS.
start-zookeeper.bat start-zookeeper.sh   Starts the bundled zookeeper. 
stop-zookeeper.bat stop-zookeeper.sh   Stops the bundled zookeeper. 
startDerby.bat startDerby.sh   Starts the bundled derby server.
stopDerby.bat stopDerby.sh   Stops the bundled derby server. 
start-exportserver.bat start-exportserver.sh   Starts the phantomJS, which is responsible for rendering any dashboard to HTML format while sending it to email.
stop-exportserver.bat stop-exportserver.sh   Stops the phantomJS.

    To get the service you need to view the log, first do this -
    cd /Installation_Path/IncortaNode/
    Run Command ./listServices.sh

    Tenant Log
    <Installation_Path>/IncortaNode/services/<analytics_service_guid>/logs/incorta/<tenant_name>/current_log.log
    <Installation_Path>/IncortaNode/services/<loader_service_guid>/logs/incorta/<tenant_name>/current_log.log
