Drill Down Dashboard

I'm having an issue with the drill down. I have 2 dashboards they both have the column Request_ID and I drill down on this column, but when it open the second dashboard it takes the Request_ID I clicked and shows on the top left that I have this filter on but it doesn't apply it. Though when I apply the filter manually it works just fine.

Anyone has any idea why it wont apply the filter on the second dashboard?

  • Same column name and value,  but different table?

    • R. A. Dawson Sr When we have same column name but come from different schema tables, here are some options we can consider:

      - Create a common dimension - we can use Incorta Analyzer Table or Materialized View to perform an aggregate query on the column and use it as a parent table for the two child tables.  Use Analyzer Table when the number of distinct values are small. Use MV when you need to UNION the possible value from the two child table.  Another possibility is to maintain this common parent table using CSV, or query against source database.
      - Use presentation variable:  But please note that presentable variable has to be specify by users and cross dashboard presentation variable with the same name is not reliable.
      - Use the External URL Link - https://community.incorta.com/t/q6hzy66/how-to-handle-external-url-linking-from-an-attribute-of-listing-table
