Join 2 tables case sensitive upper and lower case

In the database i have two tables Vendor and PO. In Vendor table key column contains data with both upper and lower case where as in PO table key column contains data with lower case only.

I have done a modelling in Schema and created a report using fields from both the tables but the report is not working as expected either it is  giving all columns blank or will give #ERROR message in the column.

  • can you please share a sample of your data file to check.

Was your child table--> Vendor and PO the parent table.

  • Praveen, I suggest you create a formula column in the both Vendor and PO tables, where you transform the Primary key and foreign key columns to UPPER format, using the 'upper' function in Incorta.  Then you can join on these two columns.
