0Advanced Map zoom to a Country
Hi,
I have a requirement to plot truck position on map with lat long data, I am able to get the plot done in Advanced Maps insight, but the map always stays zoomed out at global level. How do I keep the map zoomed in at country level? and if user click on a province map zooms/filters to only that province?

Hi Mukul,
What version of Incorta are you on? In 4.9.5, there is an option under settings (gear, upper right corner) for Advanced Maps in the Analyzer called "Zoom and Center behavior" in the Advanced section (bottom). The default value is Dynamic, but you can choose Static. When you choose Static, you then can zoom and center the map to the view that you would like your audience to see, in this case on a specific country. Once you have set the map to where you want it to be, you click on the "Capture Zoom and Center" link at the bottom of the Settings tab to lock the maps default view. See image below.

Tristan Barrientos Thanks Tristan, this is the exact feature I am looking for, at present we are on 4.9.1 release, but soon getting upgrade to 5, hopefully this feature will be available in rel 5.

Hi Tristan,
We had Incorta upgraded to 5.0 over weekend and I can see the feature as you have explained. But couple of issues I am noticing is
1) map does not filter by dashboard filter. Example I have below data
Trip ID Lat, Long
1 37.908309000000003, -121.21408599999999
1 47.438294999999997,-122.23532899999999
1 45.410845000000002,-122.751183999999992 36.747098999999999,-119.816963
2 33.447164999999998,-112.13938899999999
2 39.763032000000003,-104.756204999999992) Not all Trip ID are shown in one view if they are geographically far away
Is is possible to have a zoom call and walk through these scenarios?
