Invalid Date in Dashboard when using custom Session variable in dashboard applied filter.

Hi , I have created a session variable to get the day before yesterday date. $DayBeforeYesterday

After I test this I get the right value. And when I use  $DayBeforeYesterday in applied filters of the Dashboard it applies the date filter to the data as expected. But always shows as invalid date.

  • Definition is:  query(addDays($currentDate,2)), and I tried with test as also, it works. It also filters the data in the dashboard only is not able to display the date value.

  • Can you use a custom session variable as a default for a presentation variable you create within a dashboard? I've tried a number of things to get this to work but I keep getting the 'Invalid Date' error as I can't use a formula to convert the session variable to a date within the presentation variable.

    • Jack Kuehn  how are you initializing this custom session variable with date? Where is this date coming from?

    • Jack Kuehn  Did you get any solution for the problem you have faced.
