  • Hi Ghada,

You can apply the column percentage in the Pivot as follows:

    1. Analyze your Pivot table

    2. Change the Scale of the column from the column options to Percent. This will show you the ratio of each value to the grand total of the revenue (in our example below)

    3. To view it in percentage format, go to the Format tab and change the Format to Percent

    4. Now you have the percentage of each value in the Pivot, you can also show the row & column totals to see the percentage per dimension too, as shown in the attached screenshots.

Mohamed ElPrince Thank you for your reply.

I have checked and what I need is to apply a column percentage for each column not from the total of the whole table. For example in the same screenshot shared I would want to know the percentage of revenue in Africa within the Revenue of Hardware category.

So the column percentage is to be calculated as (Rev in Africa within Hardware / Total amount of revenue within the Hardware) *100

Hi Ghada Ossama - Were you able to accomplish the task in your comment above? I'm having the same issue with an insight now and would love to know if you found a workaround.

    • Jake Schroeder Try this:  sum(rev in Africa within Hardware)/sum(Total Amount of Revenue within the Hardware)
