A critical tool in properly monitoring your environment is the metadata Incorta itself collects. By implementing the metadata schema and its associated dashboards, you will gain access to valuable insights on your environments and everything contained within.
The metadata schema will allow you to gain insights with information available for all tenants, users, groups, schemas, data sources, data files, dashboards, folders and session variables. Gain a deeper understanding of how your environment is being used, by whom, and how well it is working. You can get a quick overview of the environment at a glance, monitor jobs and their run histories to identify potential problems before they arise, and track and understand how your users are utilizing the system.
The dashboards included with the metadata schema should only be your starting point. Do not be afraid to tweak them to better suit your needs or create additional ones.
We recommend that you be familiar with these Incorta concepts before exploring this topic further.
These concepts apply to all releases of Incorta 4.6 and later for both on-premise and cloud.
