Questions Regarding Incorta Versions 2024.1.3 and 20214.1.7

We plan to leverage Incorta as a data forwarder to collect information from sources within customer premises and transmit it externally to our private cloud. I have a few questions related to the specific Incorta versions that will be deployed at customer premises, and I would appreciate assistance in addressing them.

Note: My queries pertain specifically to Incorta versions 2024.1.3 and 2024.1.7.

1. Incorta Software Bundle:
   For a successful Incorta installation, various additional software components are required, such as Zookeeper, Spark, Hadoop, MySQL, Java Development Kit (JDK) 8u144, JDK 8u171 and later, Open JDK 11, Oracle JDK 8, Python, font families, Incorta Excel Add-ins for MS Excel 2013, and the MS Excel Plugin (version 16.8.1).

   • Does Incorta provide all these components as part of the software package?

   • Or are customers expected to source and install them separately?

2. Offline Software Packages:

   • Are the above software packages available as offline downloads?

   • This is particularly important for customers whose data centers are isolated from the internet and cannot download packages via YUM updates due to internal security policies/restrictions.

3. Incorta Proxy Support:

   • Our requirement is to use a customer-provided reverse proxy and its details to be configured within Incorta for successful data transfers.  They may not approve another piece of software (like NGINX) to be installed within their premises.

   • Does Incorta support such a configuration?

4. Incorta Encryption:

   • Do both versions (2024.1.3 and 2024.1.7) support 256-bit encryption?

   • Does Incorta support encryption for both data at rest and in transit?

   • Can you point me to the official documentation?

Incorta on-prem installation packaged Zookeeper, Spark, and Hadoop.  The installation package and the installer will install these components

MySQL, Java, Python, and font families are not shipped with the software and you need to prepare your env before installing Incorta.

Incorta installer does not use YUM or other software manager.  We have several customers whose system are not allowed to visit the Internet.  You will need to get the package first and move the file to your machine for preparing the installation.

Incorta Excel Add-ins is installed on the Excel side.
