Upgrade 5.1.5 to 5.2.3

Hi, 

We are planning to upgrade from 5.1.5 to 5.2.3. For now its Dev for testing and need to confirm if we upgrade dev into 5.2.3 is it allow us to promote codes into older version in Prod which is 5.1.5 ?

Danish, technically we advise not to migrate from a higher version to a lower version.  However, depending on the types of objects you are trying to promote, there is a high likelihood that it will succeed.  Depending on how long you are expecting to run Dev at the higher version before upgrading Prod should be a factor in your planning process for this reason.

Hi Jeff, thank you for suggestion normally it will be likely promoted Schemas hoping it will not a showstopper and upgrade cycle till convert prod is around month.
