Allow filters to be stored in business schema

I'm in the middle of modifying dashboards w/ many insights each w/ many columns which require similar filters ( e.g. a "Prior YTD Sales" column needs to filter on the prior year and a date value returned as the "TD" part of "YTD." ) 

It would be swell if I could create it once, store it in the business schema and then drag and drop it into the column filter area.

As a bonus, my criterion depends upon the value passed via a presentation variable - the reference to which the business schema does not recognize.  I should be able to save that syntax even w/out validation and have it apply when used in an insight.

I am running into this exact problem. This idea was from 2022 and I do not beleive that this "gap" has been resolved yet. Currently, I believe the only way to get around this is to have multiple presentation variables, one for the current date, one for the current date in prior year, and one for the prior year start date. If a dashboard viewer wants to change the date of viewing, they would have to change all 3 variables.
