Preserving original label or search by id

When someone renames the label in the report, the information on original label name is lost. As we need the label name to search to find the column in business view, the column becomes untraceable. If the original label name is shown in the information (i icon) similar to description that helps. If not, at least making the columns on the view searchable using the id that will help as well.   If both are implemented that is the best.

@rchitluru - Just following up to better understand the behavior you're looking for. Is the information provided in the column details insufficient? 
Example:

The column name is from the business view while the source column is from the physical schema.
