Rich text insights currently support session variables, but do not support presentation variables or formula expressions. Frequently in reports I will use formulas in a KPI insight to generate text which clearly summarises some of the key filter settings that have been applied in reports. I find this helps to avoid user confusion. This would present better using a rich text insight if it were possible.
