The Data Agent and Data Agent Controller are two independent processes within Incorta.
Both processes may occasionally disconnect due to network instability or other transient issues. If this happens, each process will automatically attempt to reconnect immediately.
The following table explains the color codes and status indicators displayed for Data Agent (DA) and Controller connectivity in Incorta:

Notes:
- Green indicates normal operation with both DA and Controller connected
- Orange indicates a partial connection where one of the services are not connected correctly
- Red indicates failure or misconfiguration, either due to DA not running, both services being down, or incorrect DB entries
Button availability is adjusted based on the Controller status/connectivity, the buttons & DA version are only displayed when the Controller is started and connected.
