Getting Started with Incorta Copilot

Incorta Copilot is now available on 2024.7.2. Enable Premium offering to start enjoying using Incorta Copilot in the Incorta platform. 

The primary advantage of Incorta Copilot is that it bridges your business questions and complex data. Simply ask your questions and receive clear, concise answers, allowing you to make better decisions in your daily work.

Ready to start?

Step 1: Enable your business schema for Incorta Copilot

With your business scope in mind, enable the business views that serve the required domain. Check the Design Copilot-friendly business views article to create a business schema well-suited for Incorta Copilot consumption.

• In the Incorta platform, navigate to the Business Schema tab.
• Select the Business Schema and the verified business view that you would like to enable for Incorta Copilot.
• Edit the business view; in the "more options" menu, choose "Enable for Copilot."

Now, the Copilot can access the chosen business schemas! That’s it!

Step2: Start using Incorta Copilot 

You can access Incorta Copilot anywhere within the Incorta platform!

• Click the Copilot button in the navigation bar
• Choose your business schema and business view from the dropdown menu

Step 3: Now, ask a question!

• Write your question to Incorta Copilot. For example: “What are the top 2 products by sales?”
• The answer will be displayed in a table format and a column chart for visual representation. A summary will be included for quick reference.
• If you’d like to check the SQL breakdown, click “Query Breakdown.” 
• Download the table in CSV format for offline use.
• Don’t forget to submit your feedback about the answer! This will help Incorta Copilot improve over time.
