Allow global variables to be used everywhere session variables can be used ( e.g. insight titles )

The subject kind of says it all - current best practice suggests using global variables when the variable value is not user-specific.   However, they cannot be used in insight titles ( nor, I assume tab labels ) which hinders their usefulness.

We agree that there is value in the use cases you mention. We will look into extending the global variable framework to support all the use cases where we can currently use session variables.
