We have a requirement where we need to refer to a physical table but need to be able to apply a filter. We need similar functionality as a view of the physical table.
We should be able to borrow the regular columns and formula columns from the source table.
We should provide an option to allow or do not allow the use of the existing joins from the source table.
We should provide an option to be able to create new joins for the view table.
We should provide an option to allow or do not allow the use of the existing security and load filter from the source table.
We should provide an option to be able to create new security and load filters
We should allow filters to be created using regular and/or formula format.
