Would like to have separate scheduler instances...

Use case, in a non-prod environment,

Turn OFF Scheduler Dashboards and Notifications
But leave Schema Load Schedules running

Just ran into this during our upgrade testing and had to delete all the scheduled dashboards to test the schemas. This would be helpful!

Hello @Adetweiler sorry to hear that you went through this experience ..

We want to help you @dmclarke & @Adetweiler to have a better experience, but in order to do so, we would like to know further informations ...

  1. How frequently do you need to pause dashboard & notification scheduled jobs?
  2. When do you do it?
  3. Would you rather have this jobs paused for some times or are you looking to stop them for good?

There are multiple approach to handle your problem

  1. On tenant export, choose the type of job you want to export
  2. On tenant import, choose which type of job you want to enable, and which to disable
  3. From the scheduler page, select all jobs and suspend
  4. From cmc, pause specific type of jobs ..

This is why your answers would help us pick the right approach ..

Hello @dmclarke , @Adetweiler
We are working on making this possible both on tenant import and as a configuration available anytime from cmc ..

Stay tuned
