How to Disable Timezone Conversion for Date/Datetime Columns in Incorta?

We are running into an issue where date or datetime values are shifting by one day after being loaded into Incorta. Our source system does not include any timezone information in these fields, but Incorta still seems to apply a timezone conversion somewhere during ingestion or display.

Because of this, dates are not preserved as‑is, and the shift is impacting downstream reporting.

I'm trying to understand:

1. Is there a way to fully disable timezone conversion in Incorta?

  • At the column level?
  • At the table/schema level?
  • In the data source or loader settings?

2. If disabling timezone behavior isn’t currently supported, what is the recommended workaround?

My main goal is to ensure that Incorta loads and displays the date exactly as it exists in the source, without any automatic timezone adjustment.

Any guidance, best practices, or pointers to official documentation would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

@stalha_tariq - There should be a way to disable the timezone completely. The long and short of it is that the issue could be an inconsistent source location for Incorta or its services. Additionally, if the Data Agent is being used, this can also be a source of the issue if the timezone isn't set on the server properly.

Please contact support, who can help dig into this and identify where the time change is happening.
