Our Community Is Moving: Here’s What You Need to Know
We’re excited to share that our community is getting a new home! On November 18, we’ll launch a new community platform, and we want to make the move as smooth as possible for everyone.
Why the change?
- One community for everyone. Questions and discussions are no longer split up by course, so you can learn from the whole community in one place.
- Better search. Find existing answers quickly, filter by category or tag, and see related topics before you post.
- Accepted solutions. Questions can be marked as solved, so the best answer shows up right at the top.
- Stay in the loop your way. Follow the topics and categories you care about, get notifications or email digests, and even reply directly by email.
- A richer posting experience. Format posts with code blocks, images, links, and polls.
- Works great on any device. The mobile experience is fast and easy to use.
Your content is coming with us
Every question, answer, and discussion you’ve contributed is part of what makes this community valuable, and we’re bringing all of it along. To make sure nothing is lost or out of sync during the transfer, the current community will become read-only on November 1.
Key dates
- Now through October 31: Post, reply, and participate as usual.
- November 1–17: The community is read-only. You can still browse and search everything, but new posts and replies are paused while we migrate.
- November 18: The new community opens, with all existing content in place.
What you need to do
Nothing right now. If you have an open question or a discussion you’d like to wrap up, now is a great time to post it. Before launch, we’ll share the link to the new community and any sign-in details.
Thank you for being part of this community. We can’t wait to see you in the new space on November 18!
